Fruit Day 2015

In the beginning the first people on Earth do not know yet the need to fish and hunt, and the craft of cooking.

They basically feed on fruits. There was abundance and they survived on just picking for food to eat.

In observance of Nutrition Month this 2015, Selimian Paraclete School celebrated Fruit Day on July 24th in appreciation of God’s bounty. Children brought their own fruits, had their hands-on preparation of Fruit Salad. The interactive and cooperative experience of this kind is equally enriching with the usual program presentation we do in the previous years.

For parents who find it difficult to think what kind of snacks to give their kids, we encourage them to always consider fruits. There is a wide variety to choose from, the safest and they are all anti-oxidants in varied degrees.

A fruit a day drives the doctor away. Thank God for His bounty. Let’s all stay healthy!

2014 Araw ng Pagbasa

In compliance with DepEd Memorandum No. 121 s. 2014

Selimian Paraclete School observed today Nov. 27 “Araw ng Pagbasa”, the culmination of 2014 National Reading Month, where schools and learning centers are enjoined to promote the “Every Child a Reader Program” with this year’s theme “Nasa Pagbasa ang Pag-asa”.

This program is to support the so-called 10-Points Agenda of the Aquino Administration, to commemorate the birth anniversary of the late Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino who was born November 27, 1932, and to celebrate his ardent love for reading.

True enough, "Nasa Pagbasa ang Pag-asa".
Reading is the biggest key to learning...
