2014 Araw ng Pagbasa

In compliance with DepEd Memorandum No. 121 s. 2014

Selimian Paraclete School observed today Nov. 27 “Araw ng Pagbasa”, the culmination of 2014 National Reading Month, where schools and learning centers are enjoined to promote the “Every Child a Reader Program” with this year’s theme “Nasa Pagbasa ang Pag-asa”.

This program is to support the so-called 10-Points Agenda of the Aquino Administration, to commemorate the birth anniversary of the late Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino who was born November 27, 1932, and to celebrate his ardent love for reading.

True enough, "Nasa Pagbasa ang Pag-asa".
Reading is the biggest key to learning...

4th PTA Visitation @ Antopina Family

Nov. 8, 2014

Another Saturday afternoon of PTA call where parents were consistently eager to be with the company of other parents.  `

Group  Sharing:

Why do we celebrate/commemorate All Soul’s Day?
What is its essence to the living?

Round of discussions and sharing shed new light and deeper understanding on matter-of-facts that were previously taken for granted.

Looking forward to another Saturday of keeping company…

3rd PTA Visitation @ Valencia Family

Sept. 14, 2014

No stopping, rain, shine, or typhoon…

It was raining hard that Sunday afternoon and Typhoon Luis was around the corner, but there was no stopping for parents to come to Valencia family for the PTA visitation every parent is anticipating.

Salute to the parents specially to those who came on raincoats and riding in their motorbikes.

Our prayers were intense as we adjourn, praying for our safety on our way home, because the wind was getting stronger, swaying the trees as if wanting to hit us and teach us some lesson, as if telling us that we can postpone our activity when the coast is not clear.

Grateful of this clear manifestation that the parents and teachers have established a stronger bond with one another.

2nd PTA Visitation @ Tupaz Family

Sept. 6, 2014

Topic of Group Sharing:

What is the most important tangible thing to you, the tangible thing that you can’t live without?

In case your house is on fire, what will you save first?

The round of answers and reasons made everybody roar with laughter!
The round of sharing was really fun.

It was another light Saturday of bonding with parents, getting to know them better, and being fonder with one another.
